Hanlon Otway

Hanlon is a Fruit Production Assistant at Darlings Fruit Ltd. After a stint at another fruit growing operation, he joined Darlings Fruit permanently in 2025. Since then, he has expanded his skills in spray application, machinery operation, and harvest supervision.

Hanlon enjoys the variety of his role and is passionate about learning more about the fruit growing industry. He is currently completing a Level 3 Certificate in Fruit Production. Outside of work, Hanlon enjoys working on his house and spending time with his nephews.

He has entered the competition to challenge himself, step out of his comfort zone, and continue building his skills.
