Hanlon Otway

Hanlon is a Fruit Production Assistant at Darlings Fruit Ltd. After gaining experience with another fruit growing operation, he joined Darlings Fruit permanently in 2025. Since then, he has continued to expand his skills in spray application, machinery operation, and harvest supervision. Hanlon enjoys the variety that comes with working in the fruit industry and is passionate about learning more about the sector. He is currently completing a Level 3 Certificate in Fruit Production to further develop his knowledge and capabilities. Outside of work, Hanlon enjoys working on his house and spending time with his nephews. He entered the competition to challenge himself, step outside his comfort zone, and continue building his skills within the industry.
