Nelson Young Grower of the Year

The competition welcomed commercial fruit and vegetable growers from across the region. Contestants completed practical and theoretical modules that assessed their horticultural knowledge and technical ability. The daytime competition concluded with an Awards and Gala dinner at the Rutherford Hotel, where contestants delivered speeches before the winner was announced. The evening also included the presentation of the Nick Patterson 'services to Horticulture Award, recognising an individual for their outstanding contribution to the Nelson Horticulture industry. The night wrapped up with Amelia Marsden winning Young Grower of the Year Nelson for the Second time.
