Samuel Lee
Samuel’s introduction to the cherry industry began as a teenager washing buckets at a cherry packhouse. Each season he returned to take on greater responsibilities, progressing through various roles while completing his degree. After finishing university, he returned to the industry full-time following a pruning season and has now spent the past four years as Orchard Manager at Cherrybank Orchard. Samuel entered the competition to challenge himself, continue developing as a grower, meet like-minded people, and embrace new opportunities. One of his proudest achievements was presenting research and a yield model for UFO cherries at the 10th Annual Cherry Symposium. Outside work, he enjoys playing the violin, gardening, and spending time outdoors.
