Amelia Marsden

Amelia is the Nursery Manager at Thomas Brothers Orchard in Riwaka. Although she now works in horticulture, her background is in agriculture, particularly dairy farming. She began her horticultural career at Willisbrook as an Apple Supervisor before expanding her experience with Ballance Agri-Nutrients. Amelia later returned to Willisbrook as Kiwifruit Manager before taking up her current role. She entered the Young Grower competition to challenge herself, step outside her comfort zone, and identify opportunities to further develop her knowledge and skills. One of her proudest achievements is completing a Bachelor of Agriculture at Lincoln University. Outside work, Amelia enjoys embroidery, aerial arts, and caring for her home orchard.
